چکیده

With the fast development of networking, the demands made of computers are greater than ever before. Determining how to utilize the resources of networking to reach the objective of cooperative computing has remained an important topic in recent years. In addition, with the great advances in technology of the Internet, Peer-to-Peer (or P2P) computing has gradually become the mainstream of distributed applications; it not only provides enormous resources for complicated computing that a single computer cannot solve, but also integrates resources more effectively. A P2P architecture relies primarily on the computing power and bandwidth of the participants in the network rather than concentrating the work in a relatively limited number of servers. P2P architectures typically are used for connecting nodes via large-scale connections. The topology is useful for many purposes. Furthermore, every joint in a P2P computing system has its own resources. Determining how to take the different characteristics of every joint set into consideration for loading assignments is an important topic. However, in this study, a three-phase scheduling algorithm under P2P architecture is advanced. The proposed scheduling algorithm is composed of BTO (Best Task Order), TOLB (Thresholdbased Opportunistic Load Balancing) and TLBMM (Threshold-based Load Balance Min-Min) scheduling algorithm that can better utilize executing efficiency and maintain the load balancing of system. A Binary-Tree based Hierarchical Load Balancing Algorithm in Structured Peer-to-Peer Systems

In structured P2P overlay networks, nodes and objects are assigned unique IDs in the same identifier space by using a consistent hashing function, and have been known to result in an imbalance factor of O(log n), where n is the number of nodes in the systems. Further imbalance may become severely due to the heterogeneity of objects loads and nodes capacities, and dynamic of objects and nodes in...

Peer-to-Peer Architecture for Collaborative Intrusion and Malware Detection on a Large Scale

The complexity of modern network architectures and the epidemic diffusion of malware require collaborative approaches for defense. We present a novel distributed system where each component collaborates to the intrusion and malware detection and to the dissemination of the local analyses. The proposed architecture is based on a decentralized, peer-to-peer and sensor-agnostic design that address...

A Genetic Programming-based trust model for P2P Networks

Abstract— Peer-to-Peer ( P2P ) systems have been the center of attention in recent years due to their advantage . Since each node in such networks can act both as a service provider and as a client , they are subject to different attacks . Therefore it is vital to manage confidence for these vulnerable environments in order to eliminate unsafe peers . This paper investigates the use of genetic ...

Structured Peer-to-Peer Systems using Load Balancing with Imperfect Information

with the notion of virtual servers, peers participating in a heterogeneous, structured peer-to-peer (P2P) network may host different numbers of virtual servers, and by migrating virtual servers, peers can balance their loads proportional to their capacities. The existing and decentralized load balance algorithms designed for the heterogeneous, structured P2P networks either explicitly construct...
